About Me

I’m Jossie Gallizia, educator, instructional designer, author, and founder of Trailblazer Academy Consultant Services. My life began in hardship, born in West Africa, I experienced homelessness, hunger, and a complete lack of access to quality education. When I arrived in the United States, I was labeled “slow” and “mentally disabled.” In truth, I was living with autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, and auditory processing disorder. By every conventional standard, I wasn’t expected to succeed, let alone lead.

But I turned my pain into purpose. And my deficits into design.

Today, I’m the creator of the B.R.I.G.H.T. Learning System, a comprehensive, learner-centered methodology that transforms struggling students into high achievers by making complex ideas simple, accessible, and brain-friendly. Rooted in neuroscience, emotional regulation, and academic fluency, this system helps students overcome learning barriers and equips educators to close achievement gaps with clarity and confidence.

Over the past 19 years, I’ve helped schools and districts move from classroom chaos to 98% pass rates, from student disengagement to cognitive and emotional empowerment. My work aligns with the Texas Effective Schools Framework, but my mission goes beyond compliance, I looking to help districts rebuild instructional culture from the inside out through:
